With three talks and four posters, the Invertebrate Paleobiology Lab had a great representation at the [63rd Annual Meeting](https://www.palass.org/meetings-events/annual-meeting/2019/annual-meeting-2019-valencia-spain-overview) of the Palaeontological Association in Valencia! The presentations covered a mix of recent publications (Jo Wolfe et al.,[microCT of Chengjiang fossils](https://bmcevolbiol.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12862-019-1491-3); Javier Luque et al., [crab evolution](https://advances.sciencemag.org/content/5/4/eaav3875); Javier Ortega-Hernández et al., [Cambrian nervous systems](https://royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rspb.2019.2370)), ongoing work by graduate students (Sarah Losso, trilobite soft tissue taphonomy; RJ Knecht, trace fossil classification), and highlights of research that will soon be sent for peer review (Rudy Lerosey-Aubril, Cambrian chelicerates; Steve Pates, benthic radiodont ecology). Thanks to the organizers for a wonderful meeting to wrap up the year!
