Congratulations to Dr. Sarah Losso!

We are incredibly proud of Dr. Sarah Losso after her spectacular graduate dissertation defense! Sarah shared with the entire department an authetic tour de force on the exceptional preservation of non-biomineralized ventral structures in trilobites and their close relatives. Featuring some of her greatest hits to date including already published work in high-impact journals such as Geology, Communications Earth and Environment, Proceedings of the Royal Society B, and a sneak peek into her comprehensive revision of trilobite appendages from the Walcott Rust Quarry from the Ordovician of New York based on MCZ historical collections.
