Many congratulations to graduate student Sarah Losso for receiving the Harvard Certificate of Distinction in Teaching , granted by the Office of Undergraduate Education, in recognition of her excellent work as a teaching fellow during Fall 2019, as part of the course OEB 56: Geobiology and History of Life. Well done Sarah!

We are also delighted that our incoming graduate student, Jared Richards (currently at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill), has been awarded a prestigious grant by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program in Paleontology and Paleobiology! Jared will officially join the lab in Fall 2020, and brings with him a wealth of expertise on quantitative paleoecology to study the evolution of exceptional deposits.
