Welcoming graduate students Maddi Waskom and Walker Weyland, and postdoctoral researcher Bruno Becker Kerber

We've had quite a turnaround over the summer, now we are delighted to welcome new graduate students Madeleine (Maddi) Waskom (previously at the School of Education in Harvard) and Walker Weyland (previously at UC Riverside), as well as postdoctoral researcher Dr. Bruno Becker Kerber (previously at the University of Michigan). Maddi returns to the lab after completing their master's degree in education, and will be focusing their efforts on the paleoecology and evolution of Cambrian sponges. Walker also joins us in the Cambrian after being a denizen of the Ediacaran of Australia, and will be working on the paleobiology of the Marjum biota in Utah. Finally, Bruno brings with him great expertise on Ediacaran paleobiology and numerous analytical and imaging techniques, and will be joining a project funded by the Lemann Brazil Research Fund to explore the potential of Cambrian microfossils from Brazil. We are excited to have you all as part of our team!
